Great Features for Easy Installation
Preassembled Doors
Diamond Doors ships the doors from factory as close to finished as possible. Your bifold door will arrive with the driveline, gearbox, and frame completely assembled.*
This minimizes the time required to attach the door to your building, unlike many competitors who ship their doors as kits to be assembled onsite.
The gearbox is oil-bath lubricated and filled with synthetic 5W20 oil, which lengthens equipment life and helps reduce operating and maintenance costs.
Many competitors only partially finish their door frames with primer before shipping. This means you will have to paint the doors yourself.
However, Diamond Doors provides a door frame finished with a high-quality two part urethane finish paint. This long-lasting paint protects against rust and corrosion to the door frame, saving you time and effort.
Factory Installed Locking Systems
Another innovative feature is the factory-installed locking system. Diamond Doors presets both the auto-lock system and manual locking system before shipping.
The auto-lock system comes installed and tested from factory. The mechanical limit switches are preset so there is zero assembly and adjustment on site.
Easy Electrical Installation
The electric opener is factory installed and pre-wired with power and control wires to save valuable time while installing the door.
This is also a huge benefit to our customer when considering cost, as our UL325/CSA 22.2 certified electrical boxes don’t require a costly inspection after installation.
Diamond Doors fully tests each electrical component in-factory before shipping to ensure proper functioning. This means that when your door arrives, it is ready for installation whenever you are.
We also run the high voltage wires to the top of the door, leaving a five foot tail for simple connection to your building’s junction box. Diamond Doors also provides a NEMA4 low voltage, colour coded junction box for easy installation of the photo-electric safety sensors and controller.
Insulation, Cladding, and Fasteners
Where necessary, Diamond Doors provides a complete insulation kit, including trim, fasteners, and the insulation itself.
The insulation requires minimal effort to attach to the door, and due to the shiplap style of the insulation, there is minimal taping required to create a strong seal. These EPS panels come with a 26 gauge white aluminum interior liner and are fastened to the exterior of the building providing a full thermal break.

Our thorough installation manual includes a detailed list of the tools necessary to install the door.
