Drawings and Information
We provide the door drawings and information you need to ensure that it’s a perfect fit for the building. These drawings are specific to each door project and are created by our in-house drafting and design team.
These drawings include:
- A simplified door drawing with a side profile, front view, and door jamb details. These drawings help confirm that door clearances, hinge positions, and other information is fit properly to the building.
- A simplified building and door drawing to provide a visual of the final product. These drawings also help to ensure that the door fits the building.
Delivering Your Door
Let us take the hassle out of getting your bifold door. We deliver each door right to your building site, though some equipment may be necessary to unload the door.
We also deliver when you need it, with short lead times that are usually between four to six weeks. We know that scheduling can be tight, so we do our best to help keep your building project on track with reliable delivery.
Finally, we deliver your doors ready for easy installation. When we deliver your door, it’s ready for install. It arrives fully assembled, painted, and pre-wired to make installation as simple as possible. We also include a complete installation manual to guide you as you go. For our dealers located in the United States, we handle all the necessary brokerage documents needed to cross the border. With weekly loads into the United States, our experienced team makes it easy.
Service and Installation Support

We also have a comprehensive warranty, including a two year warranty on any defects due to workmanship or materials, a ten year warranty on lift cables, and a lifetime warranty on our greaseless hinge bushings.

Can I operate a bifold door in high winds?
We do not recommend operating a bifold door during high winds. While the door is designed to withstand high winds in the closed and locked position, having it open during extreme weather conditions could result in severe damage to your door, building, or property.
How difficult is it to install a Diamond door?
Installing a Diamond door is relatively simple. Doors can be installed with standard tools and equipment (including a fork lift or similar equipment). We provide a complete installation manual with every door to guide the installation process, and our service team is available to answer any questions that may arise.
What door sizes does Diamond Doors offer?
While common door sizes vary depending on industry, Diamond Doors manufactures doors of almost any size. We’ve built everything from general aviation hangar doors, quonset doors, farm shop doors, and commercial shop doors. These doors range in size from 10 feet to 100 feet wide.
What happens if I need to use my door when the power is out?
We have included an emergency manual opener on each door motor to ensure the door can be open and closed when there is a power failure. Each motor is equipped with a hex shaft, which can be used with a socket wrench or cordless drill to manually turn the motor.
How well does a bifold door seal against harsh weather?
A Diamond bifold door provides an excellent seal against harsh weather, especially compared to other door styles like overhead and sliding doors. We include several door components in our design that work together to provide a secure seal.
Can I install a bifold door on an existing building?
Yes, Diamond bifold doors are easily installed on an existing building. If the building is not capable of supporting the door, you can add the required structural supports to your existing building or ask about our self supporting header option.

How will we do this? This program shares marketing costs for the Diamond Doors brand and our dealers based on project needs and details. Diamond Doors will reimburse (credit your account) up to 50% of project costs for pre-approved projects.
