Looking for an insulated shop door?
Diamond Doors are suited for any insulated agricultural building: steel facilities, post frame buildings, or machine workshops. Our locking system pulls the door tight to the building, and with the Insulation Package, provide a full thermal break. If you are looking for a convenient, reliable door, a Diamond insulated shop door is for you.
R12 & R16 Insulation Panels
Diamond Doors insulation packages are available in a 2” or 3” thick type 1 ridged board polystyrene. Each insulation panel comes cut to length for easy installation. They are installed to the outside of the door frame and due to the panel’s ship-lapped design, provides a continuous thermal break.
Your insulated shop door will spend more time closed then open, so a quality seal and uniform insulation is the best way to keep your shop warm (or cool).
“Had a 40’x16.6’ insulated diamond door installed this summer. We absolutely looove it. We also did the optional auto lock system that allows the door to open and close with the push of a button. It’s amazing, I have a couple remotes. The door itself is really well built and seals nice in winter. No gaps for cold air or wind to whistle through. It’s made the building way more usable and user friendly versus the four panel sliding doors I had before.” – Patrick
A Convenient Shop Door
We know that with every minute your door spends open, more heat (or cool air) escapes. To further improve air retention and temperature control, Diamond Doors offers a Speed-Drive System, which can increase your door opening speed up to 25 feet per minute (compared to Diamond Door’s industry leading 18 feet per minute). This Speed-Drive System delivers added convenience for your busy work days when you don’t have time to wait for your door to open.
Other convenient features include the Electric Auto-lock, remote opener package, and pedestrian door.
“Excellent door. Weather tite and quick opening. Long running company with a well proven concept.” – Ray
More Money In Your Pocket
Our insulated shop doors are low maintenance and long lasting, but they are also priced competitively. Generally, bifold doors are less expensive for doors over twenty feet wide (when compared to overhead doors).
Bifold doors also provide better insulation and sealing capabilities than most other types of doors, including sliding and overhead doors. Save money on energy costs with a well insulated shop door.
