OVERVIEW

Diamond Doors offers an optional fastener package to attach the bifold door insulation and cladding to the door frame.

These fasteners are a self-drilling #10-16 or #12-16 Tek Screw. Length depends on the door and added options, ranging from ¾ inch to one inch for uninsulated doors, or three inch or four inch for insulated doors. These Tek Screws are available in all Diamond Doors standard colours and are powder coated to prevent paint chipping during installation.

Tek Screws are fasted through the cladding, through the insulation (optional), and drilled into the frame of the door. We recommend to use a drill instead of impact driver to prevent unnecessary paint chipping.
