Stainless Steel Package
OVERVIEW
For high humidity or corrosive environments such as dairy barns and poultry barns, the stainless steel package extends the lifespan of your bifold door. The stainless steel bifold door package includes a stainless steel frame, hinges, hinge pins, motor, and lifting cables.
The stainless steel motor is available in most standard HP and voltages and is sealed to provide protection in harsh environments. Because the motor is sealed, the emergency manual opener is not available.
Stainless steel is a good choice for many reasons. It has a relatively low thermal conductivity, which helps with temperature control. The improved surface finish resists cracking and the unique properties of stainless steel protect the door from rust. This improves door longevity and results in less maintenance over the years.
