OVERVIEW
Polycarbonate sheeting is a great option for natural light while maintaining privacy. Diamond Doors offers two types of polycarbonate sheeting in varying thicknesses, tints, and insulating capabilities.
Our Therma Vu polycarbonate sheeting is available for insulated buildings. This 30mm thick sheeting has a U-value of 1.3, which is similar to the U-value on many double pane windows. It is available in two tints – clear and smoked. The clear option lets in about 64% of light, while the smoked option lets in between 15% to 20%. Therma Vu polycarbonate sheeting is fire rated.
Diamond Vu sheeting comes in a 10mm thick polycarbonate sheeting, with a higher U-value of 3.2, making it a good choice for uninsulated buildings. This sheeting is available in clear and lets in about 88% of light.
Both polycarbonate sheeting options are equipped with a special coating that prevents UV damage and discolouration.
The polycarbonate sheets snap together much like a tongue and groove joint connection. They are cut to length before shipping and arrive ready for easy installation.
