Looking at putting a new door in your building? A Diamond door makes it simple(r) than you would expect with easy DIY installation (or by referring you to one of our expert installers).
Here’s how it works.
Your door will arrive at your building site pre-assembled. The electrical components are installed and factory-tested. All the wiring on the door is connected to a junction box at the top of the door for hassle-free connection to your building’s electrical system.
When it comes to the actual installation, it’s as simple as mounting the door to your building (with the provided hardware), connecting the electrical to your building, and installing the insulation (optional) and cladding.
If you’re comfortable with large equipment (like a forklift or telehandler) and basic power tools, you can install a Diamond door on your own. Our thorough installation manual will walk you through the entire process, and if you have any questions, our team is always happy to help.
So why should you do it?
Bifold doors give you a larger clear opening. Because Diamond doors are installed to the face of the building, they can be mounted above the clear opening and don’t take up interior headroom. This allows for an even larger clear opening than is possible with overhead doors.
Bifold doors offer added convenience. Compared to sliding doors that are frequently difficult to move, bifold doors open at the push of a button. Add the remote opener and autolock package to make it even simpler.
Spend less time on door maintenance. Designed with fewer moving parts and built from quality materials, you can expect to spend less time on maintenance with a Diamond bifold door. Instead, you can spend more time on what matters to you. Diamond doors are low maintenance and reliable.
