One of the most common reasons to upgrade a shop or hangar door is because the existing door simply isn’t big enough. Here’s how a Diamond bifold door and self supporting header system give you the extra clearance you need.
Our bifold doors are mounted to the outside of your building.
We do this for two reasons. First, this provides additional headroom on the inside of your building. Second, it allows you to raise your door above your clear opening and make full use of the space. (Unlike overhead doors that roll up into your building and reduce the available clear opening.)
But what happens when your building doesn’t have enough extra headroom to mount your door?
The self supporting header system is a great option. It supports the weight of the door without causing undue strain on the building AND provides additional headroom past the roofline of your building so that you can maximize the size of your clear opening.
