OVERVIEW

We provide mounting hardware for each bifold door, which is specified based on your building style. For example, a wood building will require mounting hardware such as bolts, cable anchor kits, and J tracks, while a steel building is typically welded directly to the header of the building (although it can also be mounted).

Custom mounting hardware is also available for unique building or header designs.

We’ve designed our door for easy installation. Our installation manual provides detailed instructions on how to mount the door to your building, and our service team is always available via phone or email to help.

TECHNICAL SPECS

Wood Building Hardware: 8”x1/2”,12”x1/2”, 16”x1/2” hinge bolts.

Steel Building Hardware: 2”x1/2” hinge bolts or hinge backer plates if welding.

Fabric Quonset: Custom hinge brackets to accommodate 4” HSS tubing.

Do I need to provide mounting hardware for the bifold door?
Diamond Doors will provide the mounting hardware necessary for your bifold door. Depending on your building type and header style, this may include bolts, cable anchor kits, column support angles, and more.

Yes, we can provide custom mounting hardware for your unique building. Please talk with our sales team regarding your header style for further information.
